It worked! 😀
I replace the container and Resources Manager now detects all the missing tiff.
Thank you so much, Laurent and thank you all for your help, my friends 😘😘

I was not talking of the linking aspect…
What about re-importing in your document, having a brand new picture container in affinity ?
For example : erase the image's blocks and create a new one or erase the old block and drag and drop that image again…

All seems correct for me :
Have you tried to re-import (place again) one of these files ?

Try renaming that "other subdirectory" and opening the file again. Choose the files when the missing files dialog comes up.

Hi, and thanks again
All of them are tiff files and linked directly in the .afpub file.
The thing all the missing files have in common is they are in the same subdirectory. Within the main pics directory there are two subdirectories with more pictures inside them. The contents of one of them is listed in the resources manager, and works correctly, but the pics in the other subdirectory simply don't exist for the Resources Manager, but they are indeed in the document as in Hi rez PDF, everything looks as expected.
Thank you again, Walt

Thanks. The ones whose names are completely visible all seem to be TIFF files. However, there are a bunch of files in the Resource Manager whose names are too long to be completely visible. Are those also TIFF files (or some other basic image format)?
Or are some of them perhaps .afpub, or .afdesign, or .afphoto files?
I'm wondering if the "missing" images are perhaps contained within other document files, not directly within the main .afpub file?
If not, is there anything you can find common about the files that are missing from the Resource Manager listing of that original .afpub file?

They don't show in the Resource Manager in the original file before you save the Package?
If so, that seems odd. Can you show us a screen shot of the Resource Manager? Ideally, if possible, with it enlarged so all the files are showing.

This seems to be working for me, so we'll probably need more information.
What release of Publisher do you use, and what OS?
Can you give us a screenshot in the original .afpub document of the Resource Manager, and make sure it's showing at least one of the images that didn't get Packaged?
Can you show us the files in a screenshot from Finder or File Explorer?

Oh no, my problem is Publisher not copies all the tiff files when saving as package 🙏🏻🙏🏻 So sorry my friend 🙏🏻🙏🏻

As a Mac user I think there are some good options already available at reasonably low prices (or even free) that have a standalone one-off purchase price (or alongside subscription plans).
Typeface RightFont FontAgent Whilst there are other options available, the feature-rich are subscription-based ones whilst the free alternatives are somewhat limited or 'feature-light'. The three that I have listed are a decent price-to-features compromise in the perpetual license category. Personally I have been using Typeface for a number of years now (having migrated from Suitcase Fusion and Linotype FontExplorer) and think it's pretty good (for my needs).

Font Book.app
It does almost all of what I want from font managers. Having said that I don't have that many third party fonts installed, dozens instead of the thousands from back in the day.

But some are free.
For example:
fontba.se (Mac, Windows, Linux) High-Logic MainType (Windows) And if you're on Mac, there's one built-in, I think.

juanma_dv got a reaction from affinity4Christ15 in Bleed lines not showing on document Affinity Designer
I didn't like discovering that there's no way to link text boxes in AD as this makes it pretty useless to my work (you can't even get a brochure off the ground) but no way to see the bleeding? Well this is quite disappointing as (in my humble opinion) they should have been available since the first version, don't you think?. I understand that the software is very affordable but please don't make it cheap. Best regards

I too find the invisible bleed area very difficult. @Fixx it's not good enough simply to know it's there and that it works. If we have an image on the edge of the document, most printers require that it extends all the way to the bleed line (that's what bleed is for). So what are we to do, just drag and guess, or manually move the position by 2mm (might require resizing too if we are touching 3 edges with the one image? This is a deal breaker. Drawing a rectangle around the artboard with no fill does not work even with clip to canvass turned off. Visibility is absolutely limited to the artboard edge in artboard mode. The rectangle is invisible unless it is entirely contained inside the artboard, as with all other elements. So we can make our artboards larger by the bleed amount and draw a trim line, but then the export miss-reports the document finish size and as @looksliketired has pointed out, with multipage documents, turning off these manual guide layers for each export is too time consuming.
I'm really trying to love AD. So many good ideas and implementations and I'm so angry with Adobe. But I'll have to reluctantly crawl back to Illustrator. @MEB you keep saying "in a future release" but can we please have this issue prioritised? I've just downloaded 1.6.4 in hope - but alas. I think it's time that the designers see this as a design mistake - not a future feature request. You're driving us back to your competitor and, for me at least, wasting my money on my AD purchase.
