Hi all, really new to this sort of thing but I have been given a job to design a UI for an app and I cannot find any symbols of people such as those in the pic that I have attached.  Is there a pack for Affinity Designer that anyone knows of that has these sort of simply/bold symbols of people that I can edit for my use?

I would also like close up images like just a hand or foot if possible.

    Cheers and thanks in advance,'

    Vincent.

PS, sorry if this post is in the wrong forum...

    Try these :)

http://www.freepik.com/index.php?goto=2&searchform=0&k=people+icon (these are free to use as long as you give credit to the one that made it,which shows on the right side when viewing the artworks you want. :)

How do I use this template? Do I trace it using the pen tool or is there somehow I could select icon and it copy's the icon shape? Sorry still new to affinity

I believe you can creat or add an image to that green icon button and it will 'update' it to all the other sizes, including the one on the phone. :) I know there's other mock-ups here too that also do that.

  3. Is there a way to unblur images in Affinity Photo, say like in google maps/google earth lol (and ive noticed they tend to blur random things i.e parts of plants/trees etc, kind of annoying lol).

Tried a tech in gimp (I cant seem to remember where I found it i.e yt uploader etc) and it only did a little bit of a decent job, brought out some detail, but maybe that depends on the image also.

  4. I was looking for a way to organize your fonts via windows, where you can have them instead, but put them in folders (you can do this in gimp,I think). but couldnt find anything where you could. But,I did find this handy little font viewer/organizer where is shows all your fonts, lets you make folders and name them so if you have many blocky type you just make a folder for them and its easier to find them then to scroll around lol. you can use fonts you need w/o havin to install every one of them,so if you need a specific type and you can even uninstall any font too,w/o havin to your your os uninstaller.

    Its called Nexus Font Viewer.

  5. It's not that bad of a look, the roundness makes me think of round audio equipment/wires things like that and the purple with the font style helps bring out the feel of the brand a bit. Also the purple makes me think of black lights on posters a bit too lol. Over all good job and glad we all could help you get this done for your boss.  B)

  6. What kind of fonts don't show up? As far as I know, both AD and APh should show all TrueType and OpenType fonts, as well as Type 1 (but not Type 3) PostScript fonts. I don't think we can use screen/bitmap fonts in either app.

There's a small handful (as I can think of lol) that dont show up but cant remember the names atm.but I think most do show up as the list is long lol. I'll have to go check in the windows section where the font are and make sure all are either tt or ot,if there are any ps ones, then that might be the case why I have some that dont show up.  ^_^
