  1. The develop persona histogram is not "correct", see here https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/33596-possible-problem-with-histogram-with-raw-files-on-macpc/?p=164463 I hope they can fix it somehow, or that histogram is misleading/useless.

  3. I have similar problem, see here https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/36031-affinity-photo-raw-develop-persona-presets/?p=177554 An this one too: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/31430-list-of-compatible-cameras-and-lenses-for-automatic-lens-correction/?p=171725 Moreover, if you don't know if (and how) the automatic lens correction will be applied, how can you use the manual lens correction panel?
  4. My lens Nikon D7200 18-140 f/3.5-5.6 is in Lensfun database, but it seems that no automatic correction is applied when I go from Develop Persona to Photo Persona, as shown in the tutorial video on Automatic Lens Corrections. Do I miss something? Thanks, Max
  5. Hi James, thanks for the new videos. I have a question concerning printing (on windows): I understand how to do the soft proofing with two levels, but is there a way to have two images and arrange them side by side (like in PS) to compare origianl/soft proofed? I could not find a way to do it... Thanks, Max

  9. - in Photo Persona, when I use the picker in curves, I'd like to be able to put a point on the curve clicking in the image, now I have to drag it in order to set a point. - in Develop Persona, there is no picker in curves, I think it should be there too. Thanks, Max
  10. The info panel, as is, is not of much use, in my opinion. I would like an info panel like the one in Photoshop, in particular: In photoshop you can put sample points in the image and see in the info panel their rgb (or other) values. If you then open a Curves layer and you ctrl shift click on the sample points, you get the corresponding points in the rgb channels of the curves layer. Then you can adjust "by the numbers" to remove e.g. color cast, while you see before/after values in the info panel. Thanks. Max

  13. SOLVED IT!!!!!!!! - I have my Samsung 7 laptop connected via hdmi to my Asus ProArt monitor - if I duplicate the laptop monitor, I get wrong AP info panel behaviour - if I have only the external monitor active (2560x1440) then AP info panel is OK Don't ask me why.... but I am glad I sorted it out. :) If anybody will encounter my same problem now you know the solution! (on the other hand, I have no problems with duplicate monitor in LR and PS, FYI)
  14. After more investigation, it seems that this behaviour is related somehow to my screen resolution. Now I able to correctly see underneath the "lens" in the upper part of the image (attach 1) but I am missing the lowest 2000 px of it! (attach 2). Notice that the lowest part of the lens is transparent.
  15. Another suggestion: - in Photo Persona, when I use the picker in curves, I'd like to be able to put a point on the curve clicking in the image, now I have to drag it in order to set a point. - in Develop Persona, there is no picker in curves, I think it should be there too.
  16. Yes, I know, you can use the info panel in AP to put sample points, but you cannot then use them!
  17. In photoshop you can put sample points in the image and see in the info panel their rgb (or other) values. If you then open a Curves layer and you ctrl shift click on the sample points, you get the corresponding points in the rgb channels of the curves layer. Then you can adjust "by the numbers" to remove color cast.
  18. Thanks! Let me add one point about the info panel: as a photographer, I don't understand it's use. Let me explain. I would like to be able to put on a Curves level the points that I sampled (like in Photoshop), in order to correct "by the numbers". This does not seem to be possible.
  19. Thanks. It seems then that it has to do with some settings of my computer, but LR and PS behave correctly, so it is only with AP. I am running out of ideas.... Suggestions are welcome...
  20. Did it, only difference is that I have to get nearer to the screen to read.... See attach. And zoom does not seem to help.
  21. Screen is set to 2560x1440 pixel. Text dimensions in W10 control panel screen settings are set at 150% as recommended. I have no problem in Lightroom with white balance tool at any enlargement: the "square" pixel grid shows always correctly what is under the tool.
  22. Thanks. It seems it is connected with the zoom factor I am using, see attach. Compare with yours at same position. Max
