  1. 1.7.0.124 (and .123) have a new tone map feature - Clamp to SDR. I could not find it in help file, google, etc. Wondering what it does - or if this is a place holder for new functionality that is on the way. Thanks! B.
  2. Brightness adjustment is not working properly. Thanks, B.
  3. I saw this bug as well. My workaround was to use shadows/highlights filter, and place brightness/contrast below that. I do not see this bug on every image. Thanks, B.
  4. Here are my specs:
  5. Sometimes when I wait a minute or so the histogram will 'snap' back to life, responding as it should. But not always. These screenshots were taken about ten minutes after entering the Tone Map Persona. Let me know if the attached files are too closely cropped - the thumbnails are missing the histogram. Update: As I was typing this, the histogram finally came around - not sure if this is a bug, or if the software has a harder time with some photos than others. Any help or enlightenment appreciated! B.
  6. I am no longer seeing this issue.
  7. Did some more checking - it appears that something else may be happening. HDR Merge/Tone Map works as expected - unless Noise Reduction is selected. The default 40% noise reduction does not seem to work properly, and trying to then use the live denoise filter gives poor results. Maybe this is an edge condition - these are pretty noisy pics, shot as I was checking out a new filter. Hoping you have a great holiday season! 8. Noticed that I was getting very noisy results with HDR Merge/Tone Map/Noise Reduction. This was greatly improved by doing the HDR Merge with Noise Reduction and Tone Mapping turned off. Noise Reduction then performed as expected. However, the noise returned when I performed Tone Mapping. I can post the photos if that helps (they are low-light and pretty noisy to begin with). Thanks, LevelB
  9. Just noticed that the zoom commands (command 1 and command 0) are not working. I tried restarting 105, but still not working.

Here are some earlier posts on this: B.

Double Image on Opening Raw File

I first saw this issue last fall, I believe - unsure what version I was on then. It has been very hit or miss for me. Sometimes restarting my MacBook works for awhile, sometimes not. Not every RAW file fails. I have never seen it with the Serif RAW engine, though. I made some some posts at that time, I will search for them. Hope this helps - and glad to hear it was logged, though I thought this had already occurred. B.

Double Image on Opening Raw File

Still seeing this in 1.6.7. Will this be addressed in the next beta? Thanks, B.
  13. My issue with flickering seems to be resolved tonight. My MacBook Pro (2017) was connected to my external monitor (Acer 2560x1440 res) via an HDMI adapter. I read somewhere that this type problem could be caused by the adapter/cable converting the signal from 60 to 30 Hz (no idea if this is true) with a recommendation of getting a cable to run directly from the Mac usb-c port to the monitors’s DisplayPort. A $15 cable from Amazon seems to have fixed this issue for me. My monitor was solid for 2.5 hours with AP 1.6.6 tonight. Good luck. B.
  14. I am also having this issue: 2017 MacBook Pro High Sierra AP 1.6.6 Acer K272HUL 2560x1440 Preferences: Metal, OpenGL, Software - seems to occur in all modes Definitely getting worse... BUT - this is also occurring when AP is closed (quit) - but not as often... Any proposed workarounds (color space, resolution, etc., would be welcome). Thanks, B.
