This seems to mainly just be with PSD files, it is not updating the various preview we use for different zoom levels. I shall get this logged with development though

You do require an en_GB dictionary in the dictionary folder, one is required for all spelling languages. This should have been installed by the app though. If you run a repair on the app it should see it's missing and reinstall the dictionaries

[Reflective Objects when moving Facing Pages]

Publisher does not support any plug ins at this point. 

You can achieve something similar especially when the next build becomes available. Objects places on the page itself will keep its position on the page as is when moved. If you use objects that are place d on a master page moving the page will re flow text but keep it's position.

That is about as close as we do to auto reflection

It seems that every time it places a guide it is setting page 1 back as the current spread instead of the one you are on so it is basing the next guide placed off page ! then it will setthe page your actually on as current spread and allow you to place a guide then it will switch back again and so forth

You are right it is not easy to reproduce as I have not been able to get it yet but looking at the layers this will most likely have something to do with the 2 symbols within the group. I shall keep trying to replicate this though

Sorry but we can not divulge a release date for Publisher at this time. There will be a lot of marketing informing you of it's release towards the actual release date. If you are referring to being able to use the Publisher beta in German then there is not set date for this, it will be available during the course of the Beta when we feel the translations are adequate 

[How to make spread guides match page guides (or visa versa)]

If you are using just the one double spread master for your document then the right side of the master will be applied to page 1 and the left side of the master will be applied to page 4. Ideally you;d set up the double page master with the double page spread in mind (page 2,3) and the other two pages would just inherit the same structure.

you can however also make a separate single page master to apply just to the single pages if this makes it easier for you, in a facing page document you are not restricted to only having facing page masters

When you start a new document you get the option in the new document dialog to set the Image Placement Policy to linked or Embedded. This can also be changed after the fact through the Document setup dialog which will affect resources added after the change. You can also use the resource manager to convert image between linked and embedded

Publisher seems to be doing to correct thing for the US International PC keyboard layout. Other apps such as word, pages and InDesign also do what Publisher does so it is just a property of this keyboard layout

This is mainly down to the symbols for the picture frame and rectangle so moving the position of one is moving the position of them all. If you bring up the Symbols panel and turn sync off it should behave itself in the way you expect alternatively as there does not seem to be a need for the symbol functionality in your design you can select the symbol layers and press detach on the symbols panel to make them not symbols anymore
