Can you confirm the operating system version, the printer you are using and it's driver version please

While I investigate can you try exporting to PDF and printing from that PDF - it should work fine

We use 1/5th of an em. It can be 1/6th, but as we also provide U+2006 6-per-em that is 1/6th, it seems more useful to make thin space different. However we will use the font’s width if the font defines the character.

On the computer you can open the file on - save a copy and hand that back to your mom. That version should then work.

if you can provide any of the crash reports that will help a lot

We would like to know if the 1.10.1 patch fixes this for you once you've got rid of that 0kb file

Do you get a crash report you could share with us ?

if you can load the file on a different computer simply save a copy and use that. THis is a known bug we are looking to resolve shortly

The crash reports would indicate a problem saving the History with the document. You could try disabling that option and saving a copy. If you could also upload the current version of the file here we can investigate resolving the crash
