  1. Hi NathanC, I have always properly displayed the text of all the chapters, until yesterday, when I reopened the document. I recovered a previous version with Time Machine, but that also had the same problem. Regards Sandro
  2. Hi NathanC, The work began with Publisher 2.4 and continued with subsequent updates, only with version 2.5.x (I don't remember precisely which subversion) did the problem show. The book has not been published, so I cannot give you the full paginated, but I can give you the first two chapters, the first has always displayed correctly, all the subsequent chapters no. File sent with dropbox. Regards Sandro
  3. Thanks Hangman for your availability and competence. Regards Sandro
  4. Hi Hangman, Thanks for the reply. In the Character panel "Ordinal" is not selected, the solution is: select all text, go to the Typography panel and select "Default". It's an easily fixable but very annoying error. I attach screenshot.
  5. Today I opened a book layout with Publisher 2.5.5 (made with the previous version) and all the text, except the first chapter, has been changed. This is a serious bug. I attach a screenshot. I hope that Affinity quickly improves the reliability of Publisher otherwise many users will return to Adobe software. My setup: macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 Suite Affinity 2.5.5 iMac Pro Intel 64 Gb Ram AMD Radeon Pro Vega 16 Gb
  6. I think that an interactive in-app preflight tool that exists e.g. in InDesign would be a must for the next major version of Publisher.
  7. Thanks Dan I must say that the Affinity team was fast in solving this bug Regards
  8. Dear Dan C the problem seems to be linked to a single work, I'm still investigating.
  9. I can't do anything: the levels do not work and not even some buttons, moreover the program does not close. I installed Publisher again but the problem still exists. I have macOS Sonoma 14.5
  10. Hi Anto, I confirm the problem with the apostrophe on Mac with Publisher 2.4.0 (only in Publisher), but you can solve the Cyrillic problem passing the text in BBedit, then copy it from there and everything works correctly. BBEdit is also free - https://www.barebones.com
  11. I confirm the problem not solved in 2.2 for Mac
  12. Hi I have the same problem that manifests itself with live filters
  13. Hi GarryP I happened me a particular thing for which it can be useful to add this button. I moved on to Publisher v2 and opening a document created with version 1 it reported me that the font "times" was missing, in reality the font is present in the system, but for some mysterious reason Publisher does not see it. So I opened the "fonts management" window (attached screen) and replaced it manually whit "times new roman". In this window a button would have been useful that replaces all the missing fonts with a single operation. In this case I could not use the "find and replace" panel because the program does not see the missing font.
  14. Add a replace "All family select fonts" button in the "Fonts Management" window. Regards
  15. Disabling completely Metal and replacing it with OpenGL... things do not change, indeed the complete selection appears only after moving the cursor page up or down.
