The PDF creation guide from IngramSpark does not specify a ICC profile to use and I recommend contacting them directly to see if they will support this profile, also please be aware that we use the 2003 versions of PDF/X1a and X3 and in the IngramSpark file creation guide that I have attached they only support 2001 & 2002 versions of these formats so it will worth contacting them to see if they can also accept the newer standards for these PDF formats. file-creation-guide.pdf

Hi @KQM, This is an issue with the PDF file created from SolidWorks as when it is opened in other programs the lines are also shown

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, this is most strange as the spec of your computer can certainly handle editing multiple psd files, can you please change the render from WARP back to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 with the Retina Rendering set to Automatic and only open the single psd and let me know if the lag still remains, if the issue does remain can you please PM me a copy of your PSD file for me to test as I have a similar PC spec to yours Also can you please check if you have Nvidia G-Sync enabled and if so please turn this off

Unfortunately buy closing the app while the file was saving means the not all of the documents data was saved which is why the file has become corrupt and causing the error message when you are reopening the file. If you drag this document into files and send it to me I will pass this along to our QA team to see if it can be recovered

Hi @John Baker, Welcome to the forums Can you please provide me with more information on the location you are trying to load the file from, if it is a Cloud storage or external storage device please can you check that you computer has not lost the connection to the location.

If you Edit the TOC text style and in the Bullets and Numbering and select type 01,02,03,04.. you can get a leading zero

Please increase the hardness to 100% from the default 80% and this will give you a hard edge to the erased areas rather than a slight feather that the default setting creates.

At the moment there is an issue loading LUT .cube files in Affinity Photo for iPad and this will be addressed in a future update

You can do this by making an image of the rainbow pattern that what to use then using the New Image brush option from the Brushes menu (if you are using Designer you will need to be in the Pixel persona) select this image and it will create a brush using the image and you can then adjust the dynamics of the brush

To reassign the file association for your .CR3 file please do the following On a Mac 1. Locate a .CR3 file Finder or on your desktop then control + click). 2. Pick “Get info” from the menu 3. Expand the “Open with” menu and select Capture One. If the program is not in the pull-down menu, find it in “Other” 4. Hit “Change All…” if you want all files of that type to be associate with that program, not just that single file. On a PC 1. Click on Notifications in the bottom right hand of the screen 2.. Click on the All Settings tile 3. Click on the Apps tile then click default apps 4. At the bottom of the screen click on Choose default applications by file type 5. Scroll down the list until you find .CR3 then click on the Capture Affinity Photo icon and from the drop down list select Capture One 6. Close all the open windows The .CR3 file will now be associated with Capture One

Thanks for the files, I have also opened this on the Desktop version and also getting lagging I will see if reordering the layers will improve performance.

From the View menu click Show Text Flow and the text frames with an overflow will show a red round markers in the main view. The markers are located where the link handles would be if the frame were selected.

If you are not using OneDrive for your Cloud storage you can try uninstalling the OneDrive app and if you are still getting the BSOD with Affinity Photo right click the icon on the Start bar and then click More>App Settings and then from the new screen click the Repair option

Affinity Photo does not have a built in scanner option but if you are using the Mac version you can use Mac OS scanner tool which is added to the File menu to scan in a photo, on Windows you will need to use the scanners own software to scan you image into a standard image format then open this in Affinity Photo

I have tested your .eps file on my iPad and using the ungroup all operation the layer will ungroup but it will take several minutes due to the number of elements in the group, if the eps was originally created in Illustrator their is an embedded ai file that that program uses when the eps is opened. if you are getting the image from a stock website it may be worth seeing if they have a pdf version of the drawing.

The Affinity programs let you customise the layout of the studios to reset them back go to the view menu and then under Studio click Reset Studio and this will place the studios back to the the default positions.
