[After Clean Installation, Affinity Photo Crashes When Trying to Open a Document]

Can you please try holding down the CTRL key and the star Affinity Photo and when the Clear User Data screen appear click the Clear Button to force the AppData system files to be recreated.

MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 Change to the Learnt Dictionary location

In the recent MacOS 14.4.1 update Apple have changed the location of where the learned words in the Affinity apps are stored, the learned word are now written to a file that corresponds to your Mac default language for example for UK English the file is called en_GB and this can be found in the location

~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.AppleSpell/Library/Spelling/

Can you please provide more information on where you are entering the expression for your table.

Can you please send me any crash reports for Designer and Photo, these can be found by opening the Console app from Applications > Utilities. In the left hand panel click Crash Reports - you will see a list of Crash Reports. Find the relevant crash report - it should display the app's name in the Process Name column. Right click and select Reveal in Finder.

[Bug Affinty Photo when replacing placed photos.]

Is it possible for you to post a screen recording showing this issue that you are having as when I try to follow your workflow replacing the embedded images the group remains for me.

The Affinity apps do not have the ability to flip a brush along the x-axis this has been requested as a feature request by other users but I do not know if we will include this into the apps.

This message is appearing because there are two autosave files in the the following location that for some reason where not removed when Publisher closed and the app thinks that a crash occurred and it then asks if you would like to open the autosave version of the files

Hi @pfi from your crash reports this issue appears to be with the OpenCL acceleration, can you please try starting Affinity Photo while holding down the CTRL key and when the Clear User Data screen appears select the Disable Hardware Acceleration option and click the Clear button.
