  1. We think we may have found the bug to do with fonts and is in the process of getting fixed. Hopefully you will see your issue fixed in the next beta release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  2. If you hold down Option (ALT) when dragging, you should be able to reorder. It's on a modifier to prevent accidental reordering when dragging assets out onto the page. :)
  3. Can you double check that it is version 1.4.1, as it was released only a week ago or so. I just reproduced this. This seems to be a bug with full screen mode. Once you toggle out of fullscreen it should delete fine.
  4. We have our own font rendering engine so it's possible that we are doing something different. If possible, can you send us the font file to support at seriflabs dot com so we can take a look at it. Thanks.
  5. This is a bug and we are aware of it. It should really close as mentioned. :)
  6. Hi ronnyb, You've been reporting various problems recently that we are unable to reproduce. I believe that they are all related to the same thing so in an attempt to find out what's going on can you do the following: - run the Console application - click on the 'Clear Display' button in the toolbar - run Affinity Designer - check your fonts, and check your expanding button in the layers panel - in the Console application, do File -> 'Save a Copy As...' - send the log file to support Hopefully that will show something useful that we can diagnose. It would also be useful if you can tell us if you use any third party software that changes the system in any way (ie adds context menus, changes the looks etc). Andy
  7. Oh, completely my fault. I was showing screenshots for Affinity Designer. It is completely missing from Affinity Photo so I will add it into the next beta. That explains why it isn't working for you. I agree we do need some sort of easier identifier for views of the same document.
  8. See the first screenshot. It should be underneath 'Swap Line and Fill'. Apple defines Window as the thing that is on top of your desktop. Everything in that window are views. So in normal mode, you will only ever get 1 window, and each document will be contain within 1 view by default. I'm not getting a problem with your font (See the 2nd screenshot). You can try reinstalling your font to see if it helps.
  9. This is a lot better when the app is in the English language! I think we missed something here... :p
  10. You can add gradients to application palettes and document palettes. I believe you need to create it on the object first, and then you can either: - right click and 'Add Fill from Selection' - or on the swatches panel, there should be a button with a palette icon that should do the same thing.
  11. You should be able to add it under Misc. section in the keyboards shortcuts to Change Views.
  12. I think you are confused with document switching and navigator viewpoints. You can switch between open documents by Control+Tab or Command+'. To use navigator viewpoints, you must go into advance mode which is available on the burger menu in the navigator panel. Pan and zoom to the require view, and create a view point in the panel. To move between view points, you must have at least 2 viewpoints creates. Please take a look at this video:
  13. Hi waveman777. As MEB have already mentioned, you aren't being ignored and we are aware of the problem. We do read all feedbacks and comments but we just can't reply to everything since we have a lot to do (although MEB does an admirable job. :) ) Unfortunately, it's isn't as simple as adding a shortcut key hence why it never made it to any of the betas. But be assured that you can look forward to something in the near future. I apologise for the delay. AndyT
  14. This is deliberate. Only document palettes support global colours at the current time.
  15. It's not quite as simple as that since the spot name is what goes out to the printer press while global names are used to identify colour groupings in the application. Bear in mind not all Pantones are spot colours, and hence will do exactly what you want (there is only one name since the printer will used the process colour). If you duplicate a Pantone spot colour and rename its spot name, it no longer becomes a colour that the printer will recognise as a spot colour, but it will treat it as a processed colour. Also, if you have user defined spot colour (so it isn't a Pantone defined colour), you can set a global colour to it on the fly and back again because they aren't the same thing. I agree we do expose quite a lot of the functionality and most of the UI can be (and will be) streamlined and improved. But these things will take time. :)
  16. That might be a bug with creating a global colour from a pantone automatically. I see no reason why the names can't be the same if none already exist. The reason spot names and global names are different is because we allow editing of global colours. I'll give you an example: - You use a global colour, which is set with a Pantone, in your document onto multiple objects. - You can now edit that that global colour from the Pantone, to a CMYK colour. - All your objects which uses that global colour will now reflect the change from the Pantone colour to a CMYK colour. - The global name remains the same, but it no longer uses the Pantone colour. This allows you to use the same Pantone colour (or any other colour) in multiple contexts as you can assign multiple global colours to the same Pantone (or any other colour). Thus allowing only certain objects to change when you edit those colours. I hope that makes sense.
  17. The jump per pixel on a slider is based linearly on its width since it needs to reach from its minimum value to its maximum value. So the shorter the slider the bigger the jump per pixel. You can increase the resolution of the slider by increasing the width of the panel either by increasing the width of the studio, or by floating the colour panel and then increase the width of that panel. I've attached a screenshot of the increased panel width.
  18. That area in the panel is scrollable. It's not noticeable because you have your scrollbar hidden.
  19. Thank you. This is a known bug and will be fixed in the future. :)
  20. Most of our panel pop up respond to ESC. Looks like we've missed one!
  21. Thanks for the information. We need to improve on the Colour Chords items at some point. It won't happen for the next build because it's a bit late, but it should happen in the future at some point. :)
