  1. I actually gave it quite a thought but...No spread view, no grid, no text-to-curves. Kind of OK, but kind of makes the work too slow. Unless I am missing something in the picture. Any advice is welcome! :)
  2. No, not brainer at all! Thank you! :D And way better than InDesign prices vs. results. Just it will feel a bit dull if Publisher pops up after 4-6 months. On the other hand - decent lunch is 20€ so come on... :) Thanks again.
  3. Well, considering that right now I am doing ... what I am doing, with iStudio, I think I will opt even for not mature Publisher, as long as it has Spread view, decent font interpretation, and correct CMYK preview. :) But thank you for the information, Alfred. It really seems that I have to go for Page Plus X9. 22€ shouldn't be a problem. :)
  4. Thanks a lot. Very good looking UI but I need a tool for more substantial work. Cards and trifold brochures I can very well produce in Affinity Designer. :)
  5. Hello everybody, I have a practical question. I badly need some decent layout program. I have few client's requests to meet. I can patch the situation with iStudio but it doesn't cover all that I need. Now the question is should I buy Page Plus X9 (since my MacBook runs Windows through Parallels) or should I continue to patch up for few more months before Affinity Publisher appear? Thank you! :)
  6. There is also this app called Fonteer, from the App Store. But this is kind of patchwork. Graphic app (ex iDraw) is having own native font manager, I think this is a good solution. Great work though Affinity Team! Thank you!
  7. Hello Affinity team. I'm proud and active user Affinity Designer but I am trying to use also Beta versions as much as I can. I'm using Beta mainly for print works - flyers, posters, etc., and the app is pretty stable and work seamlessly. But now I jumped on small bug when exporting. I'm putting screenshot so you could see. Thank you for the excellent work.
  8. Wow! Guys! You are quick! :) These news are really encouraging! Every euro that I payed for Affinity Designer and Photo worth much, much more and I am sure it goes the same about iOS version(s) but your attitude, guys, makes everything priceless! I'm looking forward for the new Beta, but... as I said I have this problem with the Affinity Designer Beta (look at the attached file). Thank you!
  9. Thank you, Alex As I said it was only experiment and I did with purpose. I am working actively on my iPad but because there isn't for now Affinity Designer for iPad, I am using iDraw, exporting in PDF and opening in Affinity. I was trying if there is a way back - from Affinity to iDraw - when I discover this issue. Now here is my though: I read in Webdesigner Depot that Affinity for iOS will come at earliest somewhere in 2017. So is it possible (if it is at all) in some of the future updates to include compatibility for iDraw, since quite many people are using the app. I am fully aware that this might be too complicated or not profit-wise or whatever (there could be thousand reasons) but I just felt I need this mobile option and that's why I am trying now what will work best. Affinity is the best anyway! :D Cheers back ;)
  10. Hi guys, I was experimenting by trying to export SVG with gradient, transparency effect and BMP in clipping mask/ power clip in the file but the whole Affinity Designer is crushing before to do the export. Besides of that when I'm trying to start Affinity Designer Beta it tells me that I need purchased copy, just I have it already. Any suggestions? Thank you! :) 123333.afdesign
