  1. EDIT: It's officially been solved! Thanks to everyone who downloaded the project to try and help and special thanks to Stokerg for finding the data merge layout I had left in the wrong spot. I'll leave the fixed version of the project here for anyone who might find it useful. I will also probably put it in "Share Your Work" with a guide. Thanks again! Hello friends from the Internet. I have been working on a calendar-generating tool in Affinity Publisher that has the following pages: A front cover page to be adjusted in post A page set up for data merge with a picture and text for the month, a grid of days with holidays setup to merge A back cover page with a data merge layout that shows each month's picture on the back Right now, if I go into the data merge manager and step through each record on the included excel sheet, everything appears to look normal, but when I click the merge button, I get the font cover page, a single month page for January, and a back cover page with the image for every month on it. I can't seem to get the data merge to give me calendar pages for each month. I've already checked the excel sheet for blank cells and can't find ones that should matter. I would love it if someone could help me figure this out. Thanks friends! Calendar Project FIXED.zip
  2. This template was made as labor of love and will be updated as I can and notice new products. That said, as Redbubble is now introducing artist tiers, and I am on the Redbubble Standard tier, I will not have access to every product right away. I welcome and encourage Redbubble Premium and Redbubble Pro designers to expand and publish their own versions of this template online. I do ask for credit where my template is the basis but I recognize that's not policeable. This tool was always meant to be a boon to vector artists so they could make the art they love and not have to spend time copying their designs. I hope it continues to serve that purpose.
  3. Thanks! The adjustments worked on pricing which is great. Relative paths work, but they only work right now if my images are in a data merge layout. That causes some problems stylistically but it does demonstrate that the problem is elsewhere.
  4. Presented to the Affinity Community: This bug is also in Publisher V1. I have attached a folder containing a CSV, example art images, and an afPub file designed to let me make easy changes to my art commission pricing and example work. The images, art offerings, and prices are all Data Merge fields. My problem is that when I am in the Data Merge Manager, I can step through each index and everything appears as expected, but when I try to output a document, the pricing and pictures disappear. Hopefully someone has the answer because it is quite confusing. Thanks! Commission Design Folder.zip
  5. Hello Affinity friends. A few months ago, I posted a template for Redbubble artists that helped them resize their art for the platform's different products. This isn't an ad but you can find it here. The template makes heavy use of symbols (as of this post, there are 47 instances) but it worked perfectly well on Designer V1. In V2, I have noticed a glitch where symbols do not mirror properly (Elements in the wrong spot, orientation, etc.) Occasionally they do not mirror at all. The second problem I have found can be fixed by removing elements from a symbol and putting them back in, but the orientation/positioning bug is one I cannot seem to fix. I hope none of you are having the same issue but if you are, I hope you might have some advice. Thanks, Kyle
  6. Here is an updated version of the tool. This one fixes the issue of personal items not being configured. Frame text still doesn't work but the issue can still be avoided by using art text. Redbubble Design Machine.aftemplate
  7. Yours. The file above is for any Redbubble seller to use.
  8. Right now your line spacing, and some formatting will not appear the same in different-sized art boards
  9. KNOWN ERROR: Frame text does not scale properly; Currently Investigating Workaround: Copy frame text content into art text
  10. It’s usually a matter of maintaining profitability with Linux’s open source nature from what I understand
  11. Friends, Colleagues, Esteemed Strangers, You may be aware of the exciting world of print-on-demand(POD) art services. If you are, then you know that while they are a great means of making a passive income, properly sizing artwork for each product offered by a platform can be tedious and time-consuming. It is for this reason that I offer the following template. This Affinity template makes use of artboards and symbols to automatically scale your designs to every product offered by the Redbubble website to safe you time and annoyance. Simply edit the models at the top of the canvas and the template will do the rest! You can also use the export persona to export every product design at once. (Note, the default filepath is "./placeholder_productRenders/PRODUCTNAMEHERE.png" because there is not a way to make a "filename" variable yet in Affinity Designer. 12. Thank you for monitoring the situation and moving us towards a more widely-available solution
