stuboyle
How about creating a Persona that would be for viewing multiple images and managing them? From that persona you could select image to develop. In the meantime, could you recommend an alternative? I hear good things about Photo Mechanic but at $139, its a bit out of my price range. I believe this would fall into the domain of the DAM solution that is being worked on behind the scenes, as discussed in other threads. 20 hours ago, stuboyle said: could you recommend an alternative? On1 Photo Raw might be another option but it isn't much less than the one you already pointed out.

atlrob
I use xnview mp which is a DAM and allows adding Affinity Photo in the "open with" tab.
