Aktive Pupille
I wish I could use the plugins DXO Film Pack 5 and Viewpoint with Affinity Photo. The plug-ins can be integrated and opened, but the image is not transferred to them. fde101
RCPhotos_FineArtAmerica
Yah I looked at that too, but it appears Affinity is not yet on board with full support. Please staff, correct me if I am mistaken. Both DXO and Alien Skin could be a great plug-in for Affinity. Any news? AdrianH
I've been waiting to be able to use Viewpoint 3 and PTLens in Affinity Photo for quite some time now, both being the most used of my Photoshop plugins. Viewpoint now loads but fails to transfer the image file like above. PTLens transfers the image file but Affinity locks up afterwards. It is a step forward, but very frustrating that they still do not work! I'm afraid I'm having to stick with Photoshop for now.
John Rostron
ViewPoint should work as a standalone, so you do not need to regress to Photoshop. John They all work as standalone but these are always unessesary extra steps (saving -> changing program -> loading etc.). btw. i also would like to use PTLens as a plugin in affinity photo. Also any kind of responce from someone from serif would be nice.
Staff Patrick Connor Posted October 7, 2019 Staff Share Posted October 7, 2019 These suggestion forums are not often responded to, though they are read. AdrianH
Okey, a small step, but a step forward... I've just downloaded and installed Affinity Photo 1.8 Beta for Windows. DxO Viewpoint 3 opens and shows the image and you can correct it, but, when saved and returned back to Affinity Photo, it does not show the corrections. Not quite there just yet, but when opening PTLens, it now works as it should! I notice that a few other DxO plugins have been 'fixed' so Viewpoint might work with the next update? Fingers crossed.
