SantaFeBill
AP is a powerful therefore complex program. There is much to explore and learn. For me, not coming from a Photoshop background, 10 days won't let me really tell whether the program is right for me. What I've see so far looks quite good - but I need more time. DxO PL2, ACDSee Ultimate 2019, and On1 PhotoRAW 2019 all offer a 30-day trial period. I urge you to do the same. It would be a shame to miss out on a very useful tool simply for lack of time to properly evaluate it.
emmrecs01
@SantaFeBill A number of people have made the same point, but Serif have decided that 10 days is the current maximum they are prepared to allow! However, at the end of your trial period you could then decide to buy the app direct from the Serif store, knowing there is a further 14 day money back guarantee period should you decide that A Photo is not for you. Speaking personally, as one who also does not "come from a Photoshop background", I don't think you will be disappointed. markbowen
As above, you definitely will not be disappointed. I do come from a Photoshop background but am completely self-taught and can very very safely say that Affinity Photo can do pretty much nearly everything that Photoshop can do and most of it is done either better or much easier. Yes there are a couple or so features missing that everyone would love to have but then you can't have every single feature from every single App in one. There are always going to be items that other Apps have that another doesn't. That said, I've not found anything that I've not been able to do in Affinity Photo yet and I'm fairly certain I won't. It's a seriously impressive piece of software and testament to that is the computer that I'm running it on and the files I'm working with. Adobe Photoshop would literally keel over on my machine and explode if I tried the same sorts of things. Really hope you decide to got with Affinity but as Jeff has mentioned above they do then offer a 14 day money back guarantee if you need it so you're pretty close to the 30 days trial of other Apps anyway. I'm fairly certain you won't be disappointed though.
