Freddie360
Is it possible to apply a password to a AP file, I looked around the program but could find nothing, am I missing something?
Joachim_L
From within the Affinity applications this is not possible - even setting a password on PDF export is ATM not possible. You have to use other tools to lock your files. carl123
Do you want to password protect it so someone cannot change the contents without the password or do you want to password protect it so someone cannot view the contents without the password Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Freddie360
I could use the 'Get Info' but have not always found this unsatisfactory, I wanted to set a password on the file to prevent others from viewing the file.
carl123
If sending a file to someone, use something like Winzip to zip the file with encryption then only someone with the password will be able to extract & view it Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Freddie360
This file is sensitive only for me, it will sit on my computer (plus backups) and I just want to be able to password protect it. I can find a third party work-around, I just wondered if it was available at the point of saving in AP. Thanks for the replies.

No this is not possible within AP - only by third-party solutions Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
