Cam Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Firstly, thank you for the adding the Space + Command zoom modifier shortcut - very handy. But it appears the nudging bug has reappeared again but only after using the zoom modifier shortcut. For example, if you nudge an object with the arrow keys (with or without holding the shift key), then zoom in on the canvas using the space + command zoom modifier and nudge the object again it will jump back to its original position. Thanks.
Staff Lee D Posted June 5, 2015 Staff Posted June 5, 2015 Hi Cam, I can't seem to replicate this following your instructions, does this happen on a new document and what object do you have selected?
Cam Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 Hi Lee, It happens in any scenario for me, a new document, open an existing document or with any type of object, be it text or a shape. The nudging bug triggers as long as I don't drop the object from selection before using the space+cmd zoom modifier. I recorded a quick screen capture of it in action. Staff MEB Posted June 5, 2015 Staff Posted June 5, 2015 Hi cam, The trigger seems to be drawing a marquee aroung the object. Just zooming in with space+cmd will perform as expected. I've been able to replicate this issue and i'm logging it to be looked at. Thanks for your help. A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Cam Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 You're correct MEB, I should have clarified 'box/marquee selection' with space-cmd in my original post. Thanks.
joost Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 not sure if this is the same or related but space+cmd and space-cmd-opt doesn't always work for me. Quite often the cursor stays at in the panning mode (hand) and not the zoom-in or zoom-out option (plus or minus sign). Sometimes if I toggle through V, A, V (move, node, move) I get zoom control back but not always.
