That´s for sure not the reason.

I tried all I can think of but it works here everytime without exception.

the same here, works every time on a artboard and a normal canvas.

That´s for sure a bug: I found out: when you draw you chimney inside the house shape (bounding-box) Boolean-add  which means it´s smaller than the height of the house than it will be just adding shapes - but not Boolean-add - and this works all the time. O.o

@abra100pro - can you try reversing the curve of one of the objects using the Node Tool before you "Add" them?   Does this fix the problem?

I've noticed with Affinity Designer that the compound actions like "Add" and "Subtract" can create unwanted lines between objects and I'll need to reverse the curves to stop this happening.
