"Tool tips" for docked panels

Recommended Posts

Once more panels are docked, their titles are automatically abbreviated. I am sure that, with frequent use of Publisher, they will be learnt but I suggest mouse-over "tool tips" to appear with their titles when they are abbreviated.DockedPanels.PNG.36757b603aadfb638e4226207d35f4d4.PNG

Basically I support your suggestion.

Over the time of beta testing I have learned to decipher those abbreviations and they don't stop me from navigating the panels.

With a thread in mind that @Mithferion just started recently, I want to suggest to look into this more creatively. The idea is 'why tooltips'? Why not find new ways to improve this?

Example: the active panel has it's full title. Why not expanding/animating the inactive panel's titles to their full titles in a different style when hovering across them?

I admit these are minor details compared to major development needs. But why not think out of the box?
