amyas Posted June 29, 2019 Author Posted June 29, 2019 @PixelPest Thanks for helping me! By folder, I mean this feature in Indesign: I always working on complex projects, like company white paper, so the documents tend to have tons of paragraph styles. In Indesign, I can manage them with nested folders, so it won't be overwhelming. I can work with text style group, but is there a way to put existing text styles inside the group? Quote
A_B_C Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 There is no way to create text style folders as in Indesign, unfortunately. The option of creating folders has been requested during the beta period of an earlier iteration of Affinity Designer, when text styles were discussed. You can assign an existing text style to a group style, but only if this style isn’t based on another style already. For you would have to use the Based on … menu on the initial page of the Edit Text Style dialogue. So, yes, without folders, things are complicated. Quote
RWhite Posted March 18 Posted March 18 +1 Yes please, Another feature request. Coming from InDesign as well. This is just about staying organised. Will look at option provided above. Quote
