IPad Designer Crashing

When I attempt to make any changes to the art in progress, as a example changing vector layer name, this will cause the app to freeze and crash. After working for a few hours the app was freezing and would crash and loose the work I had completed. This happened multiple times. I have the newest version for apple on the newest iPad Pro, and installed new version 1.7.0.9 when issue started. When I opened the app, changed vector name, and pressed back button,  it crashs. I then tried to end the task and try again, same issue. Turned off the iPad and tried again, same issue. I am honestly annoyed because the app won't save any work I do and crashes after so much is done or I press the back arrow to hone screen. Is there any ideas on how to fix this??

i experienced  crashes too. i just press button  that leads back to gallery  more often to save file.

i had touch glitches(everything moves not like it should, cant rotate etc), rename crashes, eps import  crashes. hope devs knows that these issues exist, because these  bugs are not consistent. and i dont have time to record my screen while i work untll i have another crash =(

I can change layername, I can work in Designer for one hour without any hussle, and go backwards for a save doc...

Witch iPad do you have @carrie1811 ?

I have the IPad pro ( 11 inch ) with version 12.3.1

Is this happening on all projects or just some?? I found mine happens on only some of my projects but not all.

Hi Carrie1811,

Sorry for the delay in responding! Is this still an issue for you in 1.7.1? If it is could you use QuickTime to get a screen recording that demonstrates the crash and attach that, along with a copy of the file that you are using to demonstrate the crash please. We can then investigate the crash!

I am having a very similar issue using the newest launched public beta for ipadOS when dealing with editing text properties such as line and paragraph spacing. When I go to adjust anything from the character or paragraph panels the whole app crashes and I have to restart it.

I think you are meant report iPadOS issues here:
