Tourmaline Posted June 2, 2019 Share Posted June 2, 2019 Install a SSD drive into your computer, upgrade your cpu and/or upgrade your memory to at least 8GB or better 16/32GB. PaulEC Posted June 2, 2019 Share Posted June 2, 2019 Assuming you're referring to Affinity apps in particular being slow to open etc, I would just say that (with a fairly low spec PC) I find them all much slower than most other software I have. It does seem that having a lot of fonts installed affects the time it takes for them to start up. Having said that, I've learnt to live with it and don't really find it a problem. All they've said is that their computer is slow, but no details on what they're doing, or what application they're using.
