boriscargo Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 Hello, is there a way to export to PDF AND preserve groups created in AD ? Quote
Staff Callum Posted May 26, 2019 Staff Posted May 26, 2019 Hi Boriscargo, Unfortunately there is no way to preserve groups when exporting to PDF I'm afraid. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
boriscargo Posted May 26, 2019 Author Posted May 26, 2019 thanks for your reply, but is this a limitation of AD or something that PDF can't handled ? Quote

PDF perfectly retains layers and groups. Here is a screenshot of my PDF file created in another vector editor. Quote

paulo Dekkers Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Illustrator also lets you save an .ai file to .pdf that preserves layers including their layer names. Are Affinity's export features limited by adobe patents and licencing??? This would make sence. Quote
