Moving without changing length

Is it possible moving only one end of a line without changing the length of it?

You can rotate a line so that only one end moves, but I can’t see any other way to avoid moving both ends without changing the length.

Also two fingers on screen allows movement of Line length without shifting angle.

Only way I know is to use the transform studio.

I don’t quite understand your request, I have snapping active normally but using the transform studio overrules that naturally as you don’t want the length of the line to change by an end point snapping to something. 

However you can move the line and an end will snap to any available candidates.
