Document doesn't close if you save it when closing

When you close an unsaved document, you're prompted to save. Click Save, and the document is saved but remains open. If a saved document is closed, then it closes as expected.

I've personally seen this in Publisher, but others have reported seeing it in all 3 apps.

 macOS Mojave.

I am sort of resigned to this but it bugs the hell out of me. If I have an unsaved document and quit the application I am prompted to save which I do and then the document closes and the application quits.

We are aware of this affecting our mac apps, it's logged with us and will hopefully be resolved in the future.
