I am not sure if this is by design or not but the use of arrowheads on a shape's outline renders the the align of inside or outside to a center alignment. 

All in all I am quite enjoying this new beta.

I was just reporting, but perhaps one would use it for directional information. [shrug emoticon]

In a shape that you've created yourself as curves, the start and end point may indeed be extremely important, and not being able to add an arrowhead (or be forced to unclose it) is not great either...
