need larger than 4096 brush size, how to do?

Recommended Posts

That's the max you can have, there are no "workarounds" In the mighty Photoshop the max brush size is 5000px

I'm curious why a larger brush would be needed.

I'm trying to make a series of concentric rings with an oval shape relating to the size of the original oval that is approximately 5000px.  I could do this I suppose by warping the dual brush I had planned on using, but this is going to be a lot more work.  I could also resample the original image down to the max of the brush, but I didn't really want to do that.

I was thinking the same thing, or do a brush at 4000px and scale it up to 5000px, then reduce duplicates from there. It's a shame the duplicate and scale doesn't maintain a consistent gap i.e. 100px and instead reduces the gap as you scale down.
