saving pctures

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if something is up with my pc, I can edit a photo and save it but if I do anything like picture in picture or graphics it says it is saved when I hit save but can't find it no where in my pc. I'm not a computer guy and just starting to learn this so someone help me out plz. i'm working with windows 10

Use the „Save as...“ menu entry which pops up a file save panel, note and remember the path aka the location of directories shown there. Check if files have been saved there under the default shown location (directory structure).

I have tried that, just cant seem to find it when I go into pictures to look for it. I saved them into a folder I could find but they are not there, any suggestions?

Use the Windows Explorer and navigate to that directory location and check with that one. Or use the Windows Find/Search tool and search for a „filename.ext“ aka „yourfilename.jpg“ etc.

That actually did work but it's pulling back up in affinity, why is that? How do u get them off there and in my pictures?

Not sure I understand what you mean? From an Affinity app use the export menu option, export an image as type JPG etc. and export it to a for you accessable and writable location (where you have read/write permissions). Export them to your user account pictures folder/directory, navigate to that when exporting.

May I recommend this program. It allows you to capture your screen which is very handy to paste a copy of your problems online. That way anybody can help you if you have an issue as a picture is worth a thousand words. It is less than $20 for a lifetime licence and worth every single cent.

Can you explain in more detail what you mean by this? What is the "there" & what is the "my pictures" that you refer to?

Basically, tell us what you are trying to do, rather than how you are trying to do it.
