RosomakPL
When using Warp Mesh Tool witch bicubic resampling I'm getting terribly jagged edges. Everything looks good using bilinear resampling: Bilinear 200% zoom: Bicubic 200% zoom: User_783649
Staff Chris B Posted November 29, 2018 Staff Share Posted November 29, 2018 Hey RosomakPL, This was reported a while ago and it does look like it's still an issue. I've updated the developers. Thanks for raising this again and sorry we haven't resolved it yet. User_783649
After three years, in 2021, there's still the same problem with lack of proper antialiasing in Mesh Warp Tool. It doesn't matter if Bilinear or Bicubic method is chosen, seems like there's no antialiasing being applied at all (especially on the edges). Lack of proper antialiasing makes it almost impossible to use Mesh Warp Tool to create and adjust any kind of high-quality, realistic mockups in Affinity Photo. Insertcoin.tv
I was just searching for this.... We notice a very very low quality mesh warp result. No antialiasing and nothing seems to change between resampling options.... please fix this.
