Luminescence mask

Hello,

Is there a way to create a luminescence mask similar to what is possible in photoshop?

On Windows, Shift+Ctrl-click the layer thumbnail in the Layers panel. On a Mac, Shift+Cmd-click.

Not sure I understand what this does. For me, nothing except selecting the mask

Without the Shift key it just selects the non-transparent pixels, but with the Shift key it should create a luminosity mask. I’m on my iPad at the moment, so I can’t check the functionality in the Windows version.

Yes, but not as comfortable as in Photoshop.

I think, @pburki would like the the visualization of the luminance masks and not the selection of the luminace masks.
