HarryW
Minor issue: Usually, I can do an accented "e" by option plus e, giving me é. With Publisher, I get the accent and then the accented "e" by hittin "e" again, but then I have to go back and delete the accent without the "e". catlover
To get accented glyphs on the Mac, type the letter on your keyboard, holding it down for just a tad. A little screen will appear, with your letter & available accents. Just click the desired accented letter. It works like that on my iMac with cordless keyboard in APub. h_d
padura
you can do it without touching the mouse pressing the letter and the relative number; for example long press e+4 = ë
12twlv
What worked for me on MacBook pro was holding down option and the letter then letting go of option. This will allow the pop up menu to appear with the list of all the letter's accent marks.
