MickRose
Create a table 3 x 3. Type in a cell width of 20mm and the value changes to 31.9 (the actual value varies depending on the cell size). Press the up arrow and the value goes up by a large amount. Press the down arrow and the value still goes up by a large amount. The values in the box are correct but it won't take user input values. highab
I have odd things happening with cell sizes in tables too
RM10
Yap. It doesn't work well. It's really annoying. The only way to adjust is to go to the table with the mouse. And even the size displayed doesn't correspond to the real value. Example: 16mm = 29.9mm or 38,9 or etc EDIT: i just typed 29,9mm on table cell width size and it changes to 16mm. curlysister
Same here. The last column is always too big (here: 49,8 mm). If I want to change any cell, the number gets bigger. Thanks for correcting!
termi
The problem with the size of the numerical and alphabetical descriptions of the table. It does not adapt to the size and number of cells and columns.
John_Smith
Same here. Also the cell height cannot be changed correctly by typing values and using the mouse wheel hovering the value field. With the mouse wheel cell height becomes just bigger and bigger no matter if you scroll up or down.

RM10
typing or changing with mouse is the same. We get errors. I can't adjust the cell size. I need to "guess" which value represents the one i want and type it. Staff Pauls Posted September 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2018 It's working as expected for me can you send me a full screenshot showing the problem or better a short video?
MickRose
This is the first time I've used video screen capture s/w so I hope it works. The bottom table is fine, the top table is faulty. I keep on pressing the cell width bottom arrow and the size doesn't change. Staff Pauls Posted September 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2018 Many thanks - I see it now. Wouldn't have thought it would be document specific.
MickRose
Its not so much document specific as table specific. Copy & paste the faulty table in to a new document and the problem persists. It's only the width with a problem - the height behaves as expected. Staff Pauls Posted September 4, 2018 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2018 Anything unusual about the way you created that table ?
MickRose
I don't think so. I did manage to reproduce the behavior after skewing/rotating the table but that might have been a coincidence as I can't do it again. RM10
it's not related to document. Something happened to the table and I can't find why/how. Creating a new table and copy/paste the content from the faulty table works fine. (Now i need to do this to dozens of tables lol) INTEL I5 3470 | 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ | SSD EVO850 500GB | MSI 1050 TI 4GB Windows 10 | Affinity Designer 1.7.0.209 | Affinity Photo 1.7.0.209 | Affinity Publisher 1.7.0.
