ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀
Let's say I have a a curve like this Then I make an adjustment to it using the Node tool like so How do I mirror it to the other side? I can't find any indicator of numeric values pertaining to the changes I made on the left side.
firstdefence
Instead of bending the path, add a node and move it, to curve the node select smooth curve or smart curve. you should be able to replicate a mirrored version because of the added node. The other way would be to cut your design in half make adjustments, copy and paste, then flip and add together using the geometry tools. The latter works best for me. ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀
I don't think I understand what you meant by add a node and move it as well as how I'm going to be able to replicate a mirrored version if I went that route. Your second answer is something I can more understand.

toltec
Or you could just use the grid and zoom in. I changed the grid colour for clarity. It is easy to mirror the points. firstdefence and ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀ 2 Quote Windows PCs. Photo and Designer, latest non-beta versions.

firstdefence
I like Toltecs way, kind of neater if you are working on more complex shapes or multiple shapes. There are quite a few ways to do this using the geometry tool, Toltecs use of grids is neat. Actually a hybrid idea could be used... video coming... @toltec I put a hex on you so I could post first hahaha! ꜱᴩʀɪᴛᴇ➀
Thanks for all the replies @firstdefence, @toltec, and @dutchshader! Just goes to show there's more than one way to skin a cat. firstdefence
I've always wanted to use the Intersect tool in geometry but never found a use for it, well done Sprite~1 There really should be a Mirror Tool considering how much symmetry work people do.
