How do I mirror my node adjustments?

Recommended Posts

Instead of bending the path, add a node and move it, to curve the node select smooth curve or smart curve. you should be able to replicate a mirrored version because of the added node.

The other way would be to cut your design in half make adjustments, copy and paste, then flip and add together using the geometry tools.

The latter works best for me.

I like Toltecs way, kind of neater if you are working on more complex shapes or multiple shapes. There are quite a few ways to do this using the geometry tool, Toltecs use of grids is neat. Actually a hybrid idea could be used... video coming...

@toltec I put a hex on you so I could post first hahaha!

I've always wanted to use the Intersect tool in geometry but never found a use for it, well done Sprite~1

There really should be a Mirror Tool considering how much symmetry work people do.

Just goes to show there's more than one way to skin a cat. :6_smile:

Quite right, that's what, five methods in one short thread ?

Four more and the cat's really in trouble ;)
