maxen Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Is ist intended that the clone brush tool keeps showing the crosshairs at the position first selected as source as long as you don't actually paint? The moment the clone brush tool starts to copy (meaning the brush ist actually painting) the crosshairs are shown at the "relative" position. In my opinion it's a bit distractive. I'd rathe want to know where from the clone brusch will take the pixels to paint, not where I first set the selection. Rick G 1
Rick G Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 Yes and it does not matter if you want to use aligned source or not. It stays in one place until you pick another source. Even aligned source does not work correctly as it seems to take information from a different direction from where you are cloning and not returning to the same source as should be expected when you release the left mouse button Affinity Designer 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Affinity Photo 2.2.2075 beta 2.3.1.2212Affinity Publisher 2.2.2075 & beta 2.3.1.2212 Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2 OS build 22621.1928 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

maxen Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 The bug still exists in current beta. It's not a big thing, but still annoying...
