bring back the dedicated noise slider

Recommended Posts

Please bring back the dedicated noise slider. I searched for hours finding the noise slider until I noticed it appears when you click the opacity slider. Why does Affinity not just show two sliders? Two sliders would be so much more user friendly and easier to find and use.

Not having two sliders saves on space in the interface but it's true that clicking on the Opacity "button" to change it to a Noise slider is not well documented or obvious in the UI.

Maybe adding a small black triangular indicator like the ones used for the multi-purpose Tools icon will let people know that there is something else hiding under that Opacity "button"

Due to the fact that Boris Johnson is now our Prime Minister, punctuation, spelling and grammar will never be worried about ever again.  We now have far bigger problems to be worried about.

Help, click on Search, enter "noise", click on first item on Search result.

"Maybe adding a small black triangular indicator", or subtab with Opacity and Noise page - like this.
