Staff MEB Posted October 3, 2017 Staff Share Posted October 3, 2017 Hi BobsCreek, Welcome to Affinity Forums Besides the video tutorials, you can also check the Help file in the program which covers all features/functionality (available online here too). If everything goes well Affinity Photo Workbook - the official guide - (similar to what we have done for Designer) should also be out soon. BobsCreek
thanks! I am really hoping Affinity is a good LR/PS alternative... I have put off upgrading for years, but I really need to do so and I hate the subscription idea.

It looks like there might be something wrong with that second link. I get an error message. Quote The website is still a work in progress. The "Comics" and "Shop" sections are not yet ready. srg
Thank you MEB, I really hope something nice and written will come out. That will expand the base of the Affinity Photo users, I am sure. Just one suggestion, not only steps by steps but also why. For example, in the well done tutorial on how to do Dodge and Burn in a non destructive way it said to use a 50% gray. My question is why?
