donka
With an active selection, tap the little brush over a blue line icon to the right of the feather icon on the bottom tool bar. This will show you the mask with some refinement options and you can click the white right arrow for more refinement tools.
Butler To Cats
Refining selections for iPad (thanks to James Ritson's official iPad tutorials list):
ShiftEleven
The last two are example of refining a selection. The topic here is refining a mask. On the desktop version there is a quick and easy way to do that. The best Ive found so far in the iPad app is to: Select the mask in the layers panel Move to Channels Studio Touch the tree dots "..." on "Mask Alpha". Then touch "Create Spare Channel" Touch the three dots on "Spare Channel" and then "Load to Pixel Selection" Delete the old mask layer (otherwise you double up the masks) From there, you now have the selection that you can further refine. And then you can save it back to a layer mask. I was hoping for something more automatic, like what exists for the Desktop.
cirkē
I cannot find your points 2 3 4 5 could you provide a screenshot please ? what is channel studio ? thanks
DM1
The Studio is the term used to describe the feature set down the right side of the screen. If you tap and hold the ? Mark at the bottom of the screen right side, you will see all the sections of the screen named. Personas at the top, Studios on the right and Tools on the left. The Channel Studio (RGB Channels) is on the right. The second picture shows what appears when you tap 3 dots at side of a channel layer in the channel studio.
