penwiper Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hi, I am really enjoying Affinity and I have been receiving a lot of help from the forums, so hooray forums! One feature in Affinity I use a quite a bit is shapes and I was wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut for "convert to curves?" I find myself interrupting my workflow frequently to toggle that option. :-) It's not big deal, but I'd love to have a keyboard response for such a useful tool. Tiffany Nguyen 1 Quote
Staff Ben Posted January 15, 2015 Staff Posted January 15, 2015 Not yet. More customisation will be coming at some point. You can convert to curve on the page using the right click context menu instead of using the app menu. penwiper 1 Quote SerifLabs team - Affinity Developer Software engineer - Photographer - Guitarist - Philosopher iMac 27" Retina 5K (Late 2015), 4.0GHz i7, AMD Radeon R9 M395 MacBook (Early 2015), 1.3GHz Core M, Intel HD 5300 iPad Pro 10.5", 256GB

Look at Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts > Layer > Make your own shortcut here if you use Publisher or CTRL + Return, when you are using Designer or Photo. For Desktop : it’s in the context toolbar while a shape tool, move tool or node tool is active https://affinity.help/photo2/en-US.lproj/pages/CurvesShapes/converttocurves.html ianrb 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.
