StefanK
Just bought the designer. Actually, without test. But much is already known from the Photo Public. The first impression is impressive! I'm excited. But one thing I'm looking for. These are measuring lines with arrows, that can be attached to objects. Can something be done? VIPStephan
Currently there is no automatic tool for that but I’ve achieved something similar with the arrow tool and using constraints (see attached demo). arrow_demo.afdesign Alfred
Staff Sean P Posted December 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted December 1, 2016 Hi Stefan,I'm moving your thread to feature requests because this is not something that is currently possible within the app.
StefanK
@VIPStephan, thank you very much. This is a good idea. I'm looking for a replacement for Micrografx Designer 6. It does not work under Win10. And Affinity Designer (and Photo) seems very close to my working habits. MikeW
...I'm looking for a replacement for Micrografx Designer 6. It does not work under Win10. ... Wow, thanks for the blast from the past! After Corel bought Micrografx's consumer software, I figured it would die off quickly. But it didn't for a few versions. CorelCAD is what in theory it has become. But really it was a fully rewritten application.
