You can click on the column "Status" to get the resource list sorted in groups.

Apparently, what users perceive as “simplier” and “benefit” varies from individual to individual.

For instance, I would even do without the "Placement" column to optimize the width of the Resource Manager window. This is because every "Linked" resource has a status of either "OK", "Modified" or "Missing", while every "Embedded" resource cannot have any other status than "OK" and could be easily identified by sorting the "Status" column with an entry "Embedded".

And, if a new, extra button gets discussed I'd prefer a button or checkbox that let me filter "Linked" resources by hiding all "Embedded" in the total list. This would also reduce the number of “OK” entries in the current design and the “Status” column with currently double “OK” meaning.

In that case, as R C-R suggested above, you are posting in the wrong place. Serif does not look for product suggestions in the Questions forum. They look in the Feedbacn & Suggestions forum.
