Brush search not working as expected

In the attached video, the brush search will find brushes with “water” in the name but not “rocky”. Actually it doesn’t find most brushes that I tried. Furthermore, the brush must be in the displayed brush set. I had expected it would be a global search, in the case of designer it’s reasonable that it would search only pixel or vector brushes. A global search would be way more useful as the main issue is forgetting which brush set a brush is in.

For me, using 2.6.0.2950 on my iPad, the search only works if I type the brush name in all lower-case. If I include any upper-case characters then nothing is found. That seems like a bug.

So, that behavior should be expected, but I agree a more global search would be useful sometimes.

The issue "[iOS] Brush search finds no results when using Upper-case letters" (REF: AF-5326) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.3027). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
