khs_
I've just started using the Beta on Windows, and I'm liking it a lot. There are some things though which I sorely miss: one of which is the align tool. In illustrator, I can align objects with reference to a "key" object. I could do this by selecting all objects to be aligned, then clicking again on the reference object. Then "Vertically centering" the objects centered all the objects to the centre of the key object. Chris_K
Hi khs_ We currently do not have an align to key object option. It has been asked about on the Mac side before so it may be added as a future feature after initial release Cheers Quote Serif Europe Ltd - Check the latest news at www.affinity.serif.com
Martigny
I too would like to see this feature; it's very useful, as is sizing to key objects. Absolutely loving this beta. Staff MEB Posted July 14, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 14, 2016 Hi thejayzism, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Check the Arrange button on the main toolbar. There's functions to align/distribute there (see screenshot). Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
