Alfred
When I tried to close the program a few minutes ago, I got this dialog: Manually closing each open document didn't help. I had to resort to using the Windows Task Manager. Staff MEB Posted July 8, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 8, 2016 Hi Alfred, This message appears when there's a file that's still loading (opening) and you try to close the app. Probably you have opened a document that didn't load/opened properly and Affinity was still trying to opening it when you closed the app. If you find the file causing this it may worth to take a look at it to discover why it doesn't open/load properly. Mark Ingram
Hi, as MEB says, this is probably caused by attempting to open a document which fails, which Affinity then thinks is still loading as you try to close the app. Do you remember what files you had recently opened? Alfred
Sorry I didn't get back to this thread the other day. I don't think I remembered anything about recently opened files then, and I certainly don't remember now! Mark Ingram
I've now fixed this issue, it was caused by attempting to load a PDF which then fails (and Designer still thinks it's trying to load it when it closes). The fix will be in the next build.
