GarryP
Designer, Photo and Publisher 2.5.5 on Windows 10. Hardware Acceleration is ON (Intel HD Graphics 530) or OFF, same result. I’m pretty sure that this is a bug unless anyone can convince me otherwise. After I create a Segment with the Segment Tool and then change the Angle, when I use Undo the shape isn’t redrawn to what it was before the Angle was changed. Zooming in/out after the Undo doesn’t cause the shape to be redrawn differently. However, after the Undo I can change the Lower Line or Upper Line settings and the shape ‘snaps back’ to what I would expect. See attached video. (I searched the forums for segment angle but didn’t find anything relevant.) 2024-10-03 09-57-49.mp4
walt.farrell
When I do what I think you did, Garry, my Edit menu says "Undo Transform". I'm not sure why yours says "Undo set segment angle", but as you've said that Undo isn't working properly my first thought is to look at your History panel. Perhaps you've done something that resulted in two actions being logged, and you're only undoing one of them somehow? As carl123 said, I was changing the Angle setting via the orange/red dot. For a bit of extra info’, with a brand new document, after adding the Segment and changing the Angle setting, my History Panel has two entries: “Add Segment” and “Set segment angle”, with the highlight on the “Set segment angle” entry. And, after using Undo, the highlight in the History Panel moves back to the “Add Segment” entry as expected. Note: The same problem is extant if the Angle setting is changed via the Context Toolbar rather than via the canvas. walt.farrell
