Hi @ronnyb, Does it work for you after you toggle the Art Text layer off and on in the layers panel? Yes, any changes to the object works in forcing the re-render, except actually changing the content of the Art Text object.... Staff MEB Posted October 1 Staff Share Posted October 1 Hi @ronnyb, If I remember correctly we already have this (or a very similar issue) logged. I don't remember it being specific to the subtract operation though. Checking the logs. [EDIT] Yes, this is a known issue that's already logged with dev. ronnyb 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

For me, the force re-render updates the Art Text as well... or isn't that what you meant? Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted October 1 Staff Share Posted October 1 An issue raised in this thread ("Text objects used in compounds do not update immediately when we change their attributes or edit the text") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: AF-2257). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us. ronnyb
