KarlLegion Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 It happens for the dimensions in mm unit and ending with decimals other than ".5" (e.g. 100mm and 150.5mm can be displayed correctly) Affinity Suite 2.5.2 for Windows Quote
MikeTO Posted June 17, 2024 Posted June 17, 2024 I can't duplicate this on macOS so it must be Windows specific. GarryP Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 I was unable to replicate this in Designer 2.5.2 on Windows. My attached image shows the result of: selecting the existing “Arch A” preset; changing the units to Millimetres; changing the dimensions to Width = 279.4 and Height = 215.9; saving the new preset under the name “testing”. If you can supply a reproducible workflow which exhibits the reported behaviour then people can look into it. Quote
Hangman Posted June 18, 2024 Posted June 18, 2024 Strangely I can only replicate this on Mac, not on Windows. This only happens (for me at least) when changing the user units from one to six (or another value other than one decimal place) and only when initially creating the document... For me, once the user unit decimal places are changed this is instantly reflected in the New Document dialog on Windows. The values don't update on Mac until you select another preset so on Mac it is effectively a screen redraw issue... Note: This also assumes that the original preset actually has dimensions set (in this example) to six decimal places... Staff Lee D Posted June 18, 2024 Staff Posted June 18, 2024 I've logged this with the developers against both macOS and Windows. Hangman 1 Quote

I found it having no display problem for the decimal place set to 1–4, but only 5 or 6. Quote

On Windows, the number of decimal places shown is consistent between the Preset and the Width and Height fields but Windows only shows one decimal place when set to either 1, 2, 3 or 4 decimal places but it shows 5 and 6 decimal places correctly...
