Apologies if this is too simple a question, but I can't seem to figure it out. I have a file with a background photo, and then about 200 layers of text on top, created with the Frame Text Tool. The text is presently in white, and I wanted to change it to yellow. I can select all the text layers, but unless I click inside each text box, I can't seem to select the text and change the colors. I am sure there is a way to avoid having to do this hundreds of times.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @JohnM99 and welcome to the forums.

Define a text style, select all text layers and then apply the text style you have created to the selected layers.

Every change to the text style affects all text layers provided with this text style.

Hi @JohnM99 and another warm welcome to the forums,

In addition to @Komatös's suggestion, if you're text layers don't all adhere to a single size and font you can also use Select > Select Object > Frame Text to select all the Frame Text layers and then change their colour in one go...

Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7
Affinity Designer Beta 2.6.0.3106 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.6.0.3106 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.6.0.3106

Thank you so much for the answers - really helpful. This is what worked for me - first, select all 100+ layers that had font I wanted changed - then SELECT / SELECTION FROM FRAME / then click the text frame icon, then over to COLOR and pick the colour. My men does not contain "Select Object" but the above worked.

Very kind of  you all to take the time to answer.

If you have Designer or Publisher then you can use the menu Select > Select Object > Frame Text. Your Affinity Photo files will open in either application and you can then save the file and it will still be a .afphoto file.

Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
