jamesbowtine Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 He's right though - it is a major flaw currently. I think what has been achieved with the Affinity suite is amazing, but silly things like this being ignored - especially after the great 'Come from Adobe Campaign' is just plain odd. Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted October 22, 2024 Staff Posted October 22, 2024 The issue "Document Recovery prompt appears after certain dialogs/panels are initialised" (REF: AF-3158) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.2805). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Affinity Info Bot to notify us. Quote
KK_D Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) @Affinity Info Bot I still get this error in the latest version 2.5.7. Whenever I click the red dot to close Publisher, on reopening the file it gives the "open recovery file" dialog. It occurs in Sequoia as well as Big Sur so still seems to be a widespread issue. jamesbowtine Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Yep, same here for me. Latest versions of Affinity Suite and every file just about cues the open recovery file error message. Quote
mliving Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Same here. When the file eventually opens. (Designer and Publisher) Seems we're back to the 2 minute launch bounce for every Affinity app again! Quote
