Uwe367
If I select the pencil, draw a line and edit it with the line width tool, this works as normal. If I use the vector brush, this does not work. With vector brushes, I can click everywhere in the line to change it at this point, but the entire line is changed. Please watch the video. Is this a bug or just a confusion on my part? Fenrir0921
You can check under, in the brush properties, is the size change turned on? Uwe367 1 Quote Designer/Photo/Publisher__win11-23H2 Designer__Mac
Staff EmT Posted May 20 Staff Share Posted May 20 Hi @Uwe367 I suspect your Controller setting on the context toolbar is currently set to None, unfortunately your video doesn't show this dropdown so I cannot be sure. Unlike the Pencil Tool, this will stop the pressure from being modified. This is a currently a known issue that is with development. In the meantime if you select the vector brush curve and click the Properties button on the Stroke Panel you can change the controller to be 'Pressure' and then set the Size Variance to 100%. This will then allow the stroke to change using the Stroke Width Tool. The setting was on "None" and when i change it to "Pressure", it works. Thanks for your explanation. So it´s not a bug of the software, more of the user 🙃 EmT 1 Quote Have a nice day. I am unable to locate these Controller settings you mentioned. Could you please elaborate with images? I have same issue on PC.
RustyDawn
OK I tried and it doesn't work. It was already at "Pressure".
